The Office of the Director of Audit has been awarded the TD-Gold Approved Employer Trainee Development status by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Gold status is the second highest level of achievement under the Approved Employer Program that recognizes a level of commitment from employers who meet best practice, in key areas such as study support; work experience requirements; supervision; appraisal and workplace development; training records and continuing professional development.
Approved Employer status means that the ACCA trainees employed by the Office will no longer be required to complete and submit the Trainee Development Matrix (TDM) since it has already been established that the Office of the Director of Audit adequately provides for their training and development.
By joining this elite group, the Office has proven that its learning and development systems meet global best practices, and that it has demonstrated its commitment to providing Continuing Professional Development (CDP) for its professional and trainee accountants on staff.
